Pitch Post 6 - Audience Details Salvatore Adoasi


Audience Details

Age
This film is shot with young people, by young people and for young people. We seek to attract people in the age bracket of 13-25 as our market research shows us that will movies similar to our film that more than 3 quarters of the audience was under 25 as young adults and teenagers and under a quarter being over 25, So there for 13-25 year old's are our core audiences.

Location
The film is to be set in an urban inner city area like the films that we have used as guidance, We seek to shoot the film in an area such as Brixton or the 'isle of dogs' because the sequence of events is an event that happens in these areas where gang violence is sovereign. We seek to act out the stereotypes of the youth as 'gangbangers' and seek to attack stereotypes and real show the people living in similar area what happens and how stupid a reason innocent people can be involved in situations and how easily peoples lives are taken because of petty arguments and disagreements. 

Ethnicity
Our casting members will mainly be the black young youths dressed in hoodies that is also normally connotated in with the stereotype in which we seek to attack and educate through our piece of media.

Social Class
The use of informal language is what the inner city  young people speak so the constant dialogue in colloquial English helps attract the audience we seek to attract as we use speech that they can understand the language. The people being working class and the lower range of the middle class we can illustrate a message.

We will address them in our title sequences through 'instant arousal' as wee use the build in the title sequence so the tone is set and the audience sees the closing scenes in the being to make them eager to watch on as they want to find out how we reach this point.
