What we have learnt from Sound Design 2?
The songs originally chosen would have been copyright and would not have portrayed the message we intended.
They were too 'upbeat' and 'happy' based on feedback from our peers
What we are going to do?
As it is an urban title sequence based on conflict between youths, we though that a rap song would be best to reflect the sub-genre of the film.
But as someone dies the song cannot be fast and happy but slow to create sympathy for the audience.
Based on this we then researched what type of songs could be potentially used:
After finding these examples we then chose the song called 'Brothers' as it relates to the storyline of our film and title sequence. in addition, it will create the mood and tension we initially wanted.
