Our film is aimed at youths between 12-18 years.
This is because a child below 12 would not be able to understand the conflict and the message of the film as the themes are too mature for them. Therefore they will not be able to relate which is bad for us as producers.
The limit is 18 years as this considered the last year of adolescence, any older they would be considered adults and hence could have a different opinion or perception of what we're trying to portray.
Having this target audience allows us to attract our audience to watch the film in which they can relate to. The more a person can relate to a film, the better the film is to the individual. So appealing to youths bewteen the ages of 12-18 would be the best range to ensure our film is a success.
